My favorite part is reading the stories...stories of my beautiful couples, they are sweet and heart touching!
I'm very lucky and I really appreciate it, that these wonderful people share with me the most intimate moments of their lives.
Samantha and Ricky are the most memorable couple in the last months of shooting.
It was easy for me to work with them from the very first moment of our meeting. Ricky, a shy and modest guy, tried to look natural, not pose, but at the same time he listened to my advice. Samantha, I fell in love with her at first sight, she is so light, delicate and unearthly beauty for me. She had everything, a combination of natural beauty and a little tone, soft makeup on her face. Everything about this couple was somehow unearthly, the moments of their meeting (when they held hands and at the same time did not see each other read a prayer and thanks for today), touches, vows, or just presence.
Here is their story...
How did they meet.
"We met at TGI Friday’s, a restaurant in Bowie MD. I was out with some friends and he was meeting his buddy there to watch a basketball game. His friend never showed, and my friends invited him to our table. I was completely embarrassed at the time and hardly spoke. He wrote down his number and gave it to me. I had zero intentions of ever using it! "

"How understanding he is, he emulates peace, and his leadership".
How Ricky proposed:
"Ricky invited me to go on a scavenger hunt with him. The first clue was the place we first met. He took me to lunch at TGI Fridays. As we were finishing our food, the waitress handed me the next clue that lead us to Starbucks, the place we had our first date. After drinking out Chai, the next clue led us to the ferris wheel at the national harbor in DC. We rode the Ferris wheel and got off. In the distance walking back towards the shops I could see signs, but I couldn’t read them. As we got closer Ricky asked me what all of the places we visited that day had in common. I couldn’t think of an answer and he said they were all of our “firsts”. I was confused and told him we had never been to the national harbor. We approached the signs and they were being held by some of our closest family members with the words “Samantha, will you marry me?” Ricky got down on one knee and said “this is the place we first got engaged!”
I was crying reading this part, this is so touching and romantic. At some point, I even imagined myself present in this moment and seeing everything with my own eyes.
